Darrell Speck, 79, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. He died of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 900 Burton Avenue, Waterloo, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 am. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Darrell’s ashes will be interred in Alden Cemetery, 15723 125th Street, Alden, IA, at 2:15 pm.

Corey Woodley, 55, of Hampton, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024 at his home in Hampton. Funeral services are pending with the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Leowen Ulrich, 92, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls with burial in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

The memorial service for Betty Jean Greimann Heginger will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 10.30 AM at Zion St. John Lutheran Church, 422 Sherman St., in Sheffield.  A luncheon will be held in the church basement immediately following the service.

Beulah Hearn, 90, of Dumont, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Franklin General Hospital. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, at New Hope United Methodist Church, Dumont with Pastor Dennis Burns officiating. Interment will be at the Dumont Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosy Fangman will be held at 10:30 AM, on Monday, July 8, 2024, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 139 3rd Street South East, in Britt, with Father Jerry Blake officiating.

Edward Siems, 96, of Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Franklin Country View Nursing Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church in Sheffield with Rev. Wendy Johannesen officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield with military honors conducted by the Sheffield American Legion Post 277. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m.

Ida Fahrmann, 75, of Latimer, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. Funeral services was 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer.

Delores Jean (Heins) Benning, 89, of Hampton, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Franklin General Hospital Hospice in Hampton. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, July 1, 2024 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, rural Geneva, with Rev John Hanna officiating, followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall. Burial will be in Ingham Township Cemetery near Hansell.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the Wellsburg Reformed Church. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

Michael ”Mike” Lee Dombrowski, 53, entered into eternal life on June 18, 2024 at Bishop Drumm Care Center in Johnston, IA, while under the care of Mercy One Hospice.
