Delores M. Nielsen, 88, of Latimer, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Visitation hours are scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Latimer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Latimer. Delores will be laid to rest at Marion Center Cemetery in rural Latimer.

David “Dave” Simpson, 63, of Baxter and formerly of Hampton passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Des Moines VA Medical Center after a private battle with cancer. Per Dave’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4pm-7pm upstairs at the Izaak Walton League, 889 Co Hwy F36, Newton.

Roy L Hill, 70, of Hansell, passed away at his home peacefully on January 10th, 2024.
Visitation will be held at Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory, Hampton, Iowa at 10:00am; funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 15th, 2024.  Private family burial will be at Graham Cemetery, Mingo, Iowa.

Diana Ballhagen, 84, of Sheffield, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. Visitation will follow the service until 6 p.m. The burial will take place Friday January 12, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Ann M. Koenigsberg, 94, of Hampton, formerly of Sheffield, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton. Inurnment will take place at Wayside Cemetery in Chapin.

Arliss Kelsey, 78, of Iowa Falls, IA, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2023, surrounded by her loving family following a long and brave battle with cancer. A celebration of Arliss’ life and luncheon will be held Saturday, February 17 from 11-2 at Adams Celebration of Life, Iowa Falls. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family.
