Beverly Bangs, 91, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Eldora Specialty Care. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Alden United Methodist Church with a private family burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery in rural Dows. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. 

Norman B. Hanson, 83, of Dows, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Franklin Country View in Hampton. 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at First Lutheran Church, 206 W Ellsworth Street in Dows, with Pastor Anita Nuetzman officiating. Burial will be in Otis Grove Cemetery, rural Dows.

Linda Mae Hamilton, 76, of Hampton, formerly of Garner, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at her home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2024, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Hampton United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Maynes Grove Cemetery in rural Hampton.

Mary Hedrick, 73, of Sheffield passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton with burial in the Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

Lowell Brown, 99, of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Franklin Country View in Hampton. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Latimer. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday before the service at church.

Annette L. Lahner, 67 of Sheffield, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
The Lahner family plans to have a celebration of life at a soon, but warmer time of year (date unknown.)

Delores Koenen, 82, of Hampton, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. A private family burial will held at the Zion Reformed Church Cemetery in rural Sheffield. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

 H. Winfred “Win” Condon, 91, of Waverly and formerly from Hampton died on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly.

Michael “Mike” David Johnson, 85 of Hampton, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024, with his family by his side. A public visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. A private family service will be held. Inurnment at Hampton Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Sheryl Lynn Dannen, 57, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Geneva United Methodist Church. Sheryl will be laid to rest at Lindenwood Cemetery in Geneva.

Ryan Randall Winters, 43, of Denver, Colorado, formally of Iowa Falls, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2024. Darla Jean Eckard, 79, of Mason City formerly of Sheffield, died January 21, 2024 at home. Per her wishes there will be no funeral services and a private burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield. Delores M. Nielsen, 88, of Latimer, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Visitation hours are scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Latimer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Latimer. Delores will be laid to rest at Marion Center Cemetery in rural Latimer.

David “Dave” Simpson, 63, of Baxter and formerly of Hampton passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Des Moines VA Medical Center after a private battle with cancer. Per Dave’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4pm-7pm upstairs at the Izaak Walton League, 889 Co Hwy F36, Newton.

Roy L Hill, 70, of Hansell, passed away at his home peacefully on January 10th, 2024.
Visitation will be held at Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory, Hampton, Iowa at 10:00am; funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 15th, 2024.  Private family burial will be at Graham Cemetery, Mingo, Iowa.
