Twila Mae Freeman, 91, of Gilbert, Arizona and formerly of Dumont, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Clearwater Agritopia senior living in Gilbert. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the New Hope Methodist Church in Dumont with burial in the Dumont Cemetery with Rev.

Russell Janssen, 75 of Ackley, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ackley with burial in West Friesland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. at the church on Wednesday. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. 

Gordon Dean Meyer, 79, formerly of Latimer, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Sheffield Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 20, 2023, at Zion Reformed Church in rural Sheffield. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Zion Reformed Church in rural Sheffield. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield.

Elvera Dodd, 96, of Hampton, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Franklin General Hospital. Funeral services are pending with the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.
 

Dan Robert Lubkeman, 54, son of Marvin and Sharon Lubkeman, passed away September 18, 2023 in California following a long courageous battle with cancer and its side effects. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton Saturday, October 28th at 1:00.

Mary Ann Holliday, 84, of Ackley, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at her home in Ackley under hospice care. Funeral arrangements are pending with the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. 

Lynn Lumley, 72, of Mason City, formerly of Hampton, passed away at his home in Mason City under hospice care. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. A private family burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery.

Bret Harold Morgan, 74, of Dumont, IA passed away on Wednesday (October 4, 2023), surrounded by loved ones, on the family farm north of Dumont.

Evelyn Mae Wickwire, 94, of Allison, formerly of Aredale, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison. She was under the care of Cedar Valley Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the New Hope United Methodist Church - Aredale Center. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
