Nicholas Ray Piersol, 44, passed away in Coulter, Iowa Wednesday, November 22, 2023. A celebration of Nick’s life will be held Saturday December 2, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Adams Celebration of Life in Owasa, Iowa. Please dress casually. A private burial will be at a later date. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family. 
Nick was a loving Son, Grandson, Brother, Father, Grandfather and friend.

Glenn Lee Freie was called home to eternal rest on November 21, 2023. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Latimer with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Betty Lou (Rector) Jansonius, 97, of Ackley and Geneva, Iowa, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023.

Heaven’s gates surely opened wide when Erla Annette Eastabrooks went home to the Lord on November 20, 2023 to join the communion of saints and life everlasting. On Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., Erla’s funeral service will be held at the Hampton United Methodist Church, where she has been a faithful member since 1966. Following Erla’s burial at the Hampton Cemetery, a luncheon will be served at the church.

Jeanette Summerhays, 84, of Altoona and formerly of Iowa Falls, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Altoona Nursing & Rehab. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Friends Cemetery in Iowa Falls. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Dixie Venz Beaupain, 71, of Iowa Falls passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Mary Greely Hospital Ames, Iowa. Funeral services for Dixie Beaupain will be 10:30 am Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 313 Lee Lane, Iowa Falls, Iowa 50126. Larry Allen Koppes, 68, of Atlantic IA passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 under the care of Cass Co Memorial Hospital in Atlantic IA. No services are planned at this time. Instead remember Larry by going fishing at one of his favorite spots, Beeds Lake, Hampton IA or your choice. 

Rhogene Ann Smith. 82, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 in North Carolina following a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lydia Muhlenbruck. Surviving are her son, Richard Salais (Terry), daughter, Lisa Salais, son Michael Salais (Donna), grandchildren Michael, Lydia and Daniel Salais, sisters Carol Lubkeman (Ken) and Donna Tropp (David) and several nieces and a nephew.

Lowell “Happy” or “Hap” Hudson, 98, of Dumont, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the Dumont Reformed Church. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church on Tuesday. Burial will take place in the Dumont Cemetery.
