Sharon Ann Caruth, 77, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021. Per Sharon’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded and no formal services will be conducted. The Linn’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Judith Ann Schuler, 86, of Hampton, Iowa passed away November 16, 2021, at Mercy One Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa. Judy was born March 21, 195 in Coulter, Iowa, to Adolph and Laura (Christensen) Freese. Attended school at CAL. Judy married Cliff on March 30, 1958. To this union three children were born: Teresa, Tim, Teri.

Darrel Ray Poling, 83, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. He was born on May 31, 1938, in State Center, Iowa, to Delno and Mildred (Shumaker) Poling.
Darrel graduated from Hampton High School, class of 1956. On November 2, 1958, he married Patricia Tedder in Clear Lake.

Maryee H. Whitley, 85, of Hampton, Iowa, died Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. She was born October 10, 1936, in Wichita, Kansas, to parents Pascal and Antonia (Gerardo) Soliz.

Janice Ripperger, 83, of Hampton, passed away November 26, 2021 at Sheffield Care Center in Sheffield. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hampton. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home of Hampton.
 

Wendell Dean Schmitt, 94, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 25, 2021, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton, Iowa.  Wendell was born on February 22, 1927 in Hampton, Iowa to Walter R. and Vera  L.(Freie) Schmitt.  He graduated from Hampton High School in 1944.

Norma Jean Alderdyce, 87, of Coulter, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the Alden United Methodist Church in Alden. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Ronald Marvin Duit, 78, of Iowa Falls passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at his home. Funeral services for Ronald Duit will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at The Church of The Open Bible 408 College Avenue, Iowa Falls. Della Elizabeth Woomer, 68, of Iowa and formerly of Smyrna, Delaware passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, with loved ones by her side. A Celebration of life for Della Woomer will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Church of the Open Bible, 408 College Avenue, Iowa Falls. Karen Mae Banner, 81, of Alden, Iowa passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Hansen Family Hospital, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Private family services for Karen Banner were Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Sherman Cemetery, South of Buckeye.

Melvin E. Kew, 93, of Sheffield, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa.  He was born November 30, 1927, in Franklin County, Iowa, to John and Saddie (Bobst) Kew.  

Richard “Dick” Lee Badger, age 86 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 at home surrounded by family. 
He was born on September 10, 1935 in Grinnell, Ia., the son of Robert William and Helen Pauline (Hotchkin) Badger. He was married on January 15, 1954 in Grinnell, Ia. to Arlene Trotter, she survives at the home. 

Lois Paula Stratmann, 89, of Hampton, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, surrounded by family at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. She was born January 28, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan, to Paul and Edna (Wendler) Kroeger.

Virginia June (Andersen) Hurd, 94, longtime resident of rural Alden/Popejoy, died peacefully at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls, Iowa on November 14th, 2021.

Heath Wade Johnson, 42, of Hampton passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.
Heath was born October 31, 1979, in Hampton, to parents Hector Munoz and Carol Johnson. He worked at Miller Concrete in Hampton for a number of years. More recently he had been helping his brother out at the AmericInn.
