Joanne A. Nuehring, 85, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

Ronald Sailer, 73, of Ackley, passed away on Thursday January 13th at his home under hospice care of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP.) . Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. on Sunday January 16, 2022 at the St. John’s United Church of Christ in Ackley. A private service will be held with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Loren Harry Schmitt (98) passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at New Perspective Senior Living in Mankato, Minnesota.
Loren was born April 11, 1923 to Harry and Esther (Dreyer) Schmitt in Hampton, Iowa.  

Harm Freese, 84 of Hampton passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Mercy One North Iowa Medical Center, due to COVID complications. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Funeral services were 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Church of the Living Word in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Julie Jean (Worden) Flinchum, 61, of Hampton, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at her home in Hampton. 
Julie was born on October 10, 1960, in Hampton, to Dean and Penny (Bailey) Worden.  She graduated from Hampton High School.  Julie enjoyed listening to music, taking care of her cat and most of all spending time with her family.

LaDonna Jean Reynolds, 72, of Hampton, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11 at the Trinity  Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. on Monday at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Jeanette R. Collins, 92, of Sheffield, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Sheffield Care Center in Sheffield, Iowa after a long life filled with love she joyfully shared with others.

Roger Carl Landers, 81, of Dumont, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Greene.

Evelyn Mae Murra, 95, of Belmond, Iowa and formerly of Iowa Falls passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at her home. Funeral services for Evelyn Murra were 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Linn’s Funeral Chapel, 1521 Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa with a time of visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to services. With burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Grant Township, Franklin County, Iowa directly following services.

George Leonard Marson, 87, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Hancock County Health System, Britt, IA.
Family will be having a Memorial Service on January 8th at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA with lunch following the memorial at the church.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Dumont Reformed Church. Burial took place in the Dumont Cemetery.
