George Leonard Marson, 87, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Hancock County Health System, Britt, IA.
Family will be having a Memorial Service on January 8th at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA with lunch following the memorial at the church.

Irene M. Day, 94, of Dumont, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Shell Rock Healthcare Center. Visitation was held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the Dumont Reformed Church. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Dumont Reformed Church. Burial took place in the Dumont Cemetery.

Ruth Harriet Long, 94, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton.

Jeffrey Earl Pates, 58, of Ackley, Iowa passed away Friday, December 24, 2021, at his home in Ackley. The family will be having a private family service at a later date. Linn’s Funeral Ackley Chapel is assisting the family with cremation care.

Funeral services for Steven Brian Stortz, 57, of Hampton, IA, formerly of Norfolk, will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Christ Lutheran Church, in Norfolk, NE. Reverend Mike Moreno will officiate. Burial will be New Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, December 27 at Christ Lutheran Church. Dean Duit, 93, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Hansen Family Hospital. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Laurence A. “Larry” Miller, 79, of La Porte City, died Saturday, December 18, 2021, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. He was born June 12, 1942, in Waterloo the son of Arnold and Leona Bedard Miller. He was a graduate of Dumont High School.
Larry married Patricia “Patty” Hemmer on November 24, 1966, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gilbertville.
He worked for John Deere Co. retiring after 30 years.

Bonnie Welsher 71, of Hampton passed away peacefully at Franklin General Hospital under the care of North Iowa Hospice with her family by her side Friday, December 17, 2021. Funeral Service was 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 21, 2021 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton with visitation on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Sietsema Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Gordon Kourt Oudekerk, 97, of Aredale, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Monday. Burial took place in the Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield.

Jeanine “Jeanie” Lee Hodge of Hampton passed away December 16, 2021 at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family.   
Per Jeanie’s wishes she was cremated and there will be no funeral. Private services will be held later date.

Beverly Ann (Olk) Nielsen, 84, loving wife and mother, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa, with her loving husband at her side.

Mildred E. Menning, 93, of Latimer, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. 

Pamela Sue Harper, 77, of Hampton, Iowa died peacefully, surrounded by her family, Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. She was born August 2, 1944 in Clarion, Iowa to parents Walter and Betty Jane (Hiatt) Cramer.
