Ann Lorraine (Gilmer) Bailey, 76, of Hampton, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. She was born August 9, 1945, in Oelwein, to Ralph and Dorothy (Holmes) Gilmer.

Ross D. Anderson, 63, of Dumont, Iowa died Saturday, October 9, 2021 at UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa from COVID-19 and underlying medical immune suppression.

Gladys Amendt was born on September 21, 1923, in rural Sheffield, daughter of Julius & Emily (Wiele) Liekweg.  She attended rural school and later graduated from Sheffield High School, Sheffield, Iowa in 1941, and from Hamilton’s Business College, Mason City, Iowa.

Susan Rae Norte, 76, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at  her daughters home. John Goossen, 67, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Wednesday September 29th, 2021 in Newport Beach, California. Paul Schulz, 77, of Hampton passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Franklin General Hospital Hospice with his loving family by his side. Wayne David Borcherding, 81, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.
Wayne was born on April 18, 1940, in Hampton, to Herman and Martha (Mueller) Borcherding.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Latimer and graduated from St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Latimer. 

Glenn Howard Schnabel, 94, of Sheffield, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the Sheffield Care Center. He was born the son of Paul and Clara (Stauffacher) Schnabel on July 1, 1927 at Hampton Lutheran Hospital.

Genevieve J. Borcherding, 83, of Latimer, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond. She was born January 4, 1938, in Hampton, Iowa, to John and Jurgena (Nielsen) Pandil.

E. Joyce (Froning) Brouwer was taken to her heavenly home on Friday September 24, 2021, after a brief stay in the Sheffield Care Center. Joyce was born to Earl and Amber (Lumley) Froning on January 5, 1928, at their family century farm near Chapin, Iowa. For those of you who are trying to figure this out, she was 93 years old. She enjoyed playing basketball in her high school years until graduating as a Comet from Chapin Consolidated School.

Marjorie M. Larson, 99, of Hampton, IA died peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021at Franklin Country View in Hampton.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with a one hour prior visitation at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 2nd St SE, Mason City.  Inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
