Amber Sue Bushbaum, 38, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. 

Judy Straw of Red Lodge, Montana passed awy June 16, 2022 at her home after battling cancer for many years. She was born on January 30, 1949 to Garland and Marjorie (Shaw) VanKleeck.

Dixie Lee Louks Fink Honold was born on January 6, 1941, in Nevada, IA to Maxine (Hoel) and Caroll Louks.  

Services for Ron Kreimeyer, 84, of rural Geneva, will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 with a visitation from 10 to 11 am with coffee and cookies in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ basement, Geneva. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am at the church with interment in the St. Peter’s Cemetery. Counsell Woodley Funeral Home, Hampton is caring for Ronald and his family.
 

 William Donald Borcherding, 56, of Red Wing, MN passed away on July 4, 2022 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident on June 9. William was born on Dec. 22, 1965 to Donald H. and Genevieve (Pandil) Borcherding of Latimer. 
 
Will enjoyed school and was an exceptional student, and was known for his outstanding drumming skills. He graduated from CAL Community High School in 1984.

James David Harding, 81, of Hampton, Iowa passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.
 

Karen Kay Dyer, 83, of Naples, Florida passed away on July 7, 2022.  Karen was born on May 25, 1939 in Hampton, Iowa.  After graduating from Dumont High School in 1956, she went to work at Dyer Pontiac in Hampton, Iowa where she met and married the love of her life, Donald Dyer. Being an only child, she always wished for a large family of her own.  Her dreams came true as the mother of four, and was the mom everyone wished for. 

Grace Ulrich, 89, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service.

Norman Sparrow, 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Funeral Services are pending with the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. 

William "Bill" Koop, 101, of Ackley, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church in rural Ackley with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. 

Michael Gregory Dunn

1943-2022

On Michael Dunn’s last day, while fishing in Alaska, he caught a rainbow trout that was his

personal best. That evening on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 he passed away peacefully in his cabin after spending his final days enjoying the love and companionship of his two sons, Kevin and Patrick, and two grandsons, Patrick Jr. and George.
