Linda Lou Hayne, 73, of Waukee, Iowa and formally of Iowa Falls, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services for Linda Hayne will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022, at First Christian Church, 221 Fischer Avenue, Iowa Falls, Iowa with visitation one hour prior to funeral, with burial at Fairview Cemetery Dows, Iowa.

Duane Renberg, age 87, of Sheffield, Iowa, passed away May 28, 2022 at the Sheffield Care Center in Sheffield. Funeral services are pending under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home of Hampton.

Debra Kay “Deb” Buckner, 68, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away May 25, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City, Iowa. She was born June, 3, 1953, the daughter of Walt and Shirley (Wyke) Fuller in Mason City. 

Loren Harry Schmitt (98) passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at New Perspective Senior Living in Mankato, Minnesota. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery with Military Rites by Franklin County American Legion. Following committal services, a lunch will be served at Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home, 1309 4th St NE.

Helen Johns, 92, wife of Leland Johns, formerly of Ackley, passed away on May 18, 2022. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley with burial to follow in the Hazel Green Cemetery. 

Harold Burma, 85, of Ackley, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Washington Reformed Church in Ackley. Michael (Mike) E. Codner, 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his home in rural Bristow, Iowa.  

William Francis Patton “Bill” (81) passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hampton, followed by burial in the Hampton Cemetery. A visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton, followed by a Rosary Service. 

Debra Sue Lore, age 65, of Allison, Iowa, was born the daughter of Norman and Minnie (Hartwig) Gulick on June 23, 1956, in Hampton, Iowa. She moved with her family to Allison in 1969, graduating from Allison-Bristow High School in 1975. She married Hugh Lore on September 26, 1992, at the United Church of Christ in Allison. They made their home in Clarksville before returning to Allison in 2016.

Doug Miller, 75, of Hampton passed away May 11, 2022 at the Muse Norris Hospice House in Mason City with loved ones by his side. A private family service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Overna "Tootie" Card, 92, of Hampton, formerly of Dumont, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. A public visitation was held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place at a later date. The Counsell Woodley Funeral Home is caring for Overna and her family.

Ruth Oelmann, 97, of Ackley, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ackley with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. 

Diane Kay Bushbaum, 68, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.
Diane was born September 5, 1953, in Charles City, daughter of Charlie and Marie (Hoodjer) Hinders.  She graduated from Allison-Bristow High School. Diane married the love of her life, Jay Bushbaum on June 30, 1979, at Trinity Reformed Church in Allison.
