Melvin Beyer, 90, of Dows, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2022  from 4-7 p.m. at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls with a private family burial at the Fairview Cemetery in Dows.

               Shirley Helen Swieter passed away April 27, 2022, at the Hampton Rehabilitation Center in Hampton, IA. She was born June 20, 1935, in Coulter, Iowa to Richard and Gladys (Rodemeyer) Thielen.  Shirley attended Franklin Consolidated School and was united in marriage to Robert Swieter on March 9, 1952, in Latimer, Iowa.

Bruce B Larsen of Custer, SD passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 after a lengthy illness of Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy body Dementia at the age of 75.  He was born January 24, 1947 to Benton & Annetta (Johansen) Larsen of Coulter, IA.  He grew up in the Latimer, Coulter, and Alexander, IA. area and attended and graduated from CAL Community School.

Margaret (Margie) Smith, 75, of Iowa Falls passed away on April 22, 2022 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center surrounded by her family. She lived, worked, and attended school in Alden, Iowa. Warren Dale Woodley, 92 passed away Tuesday, April 12 at Allison Health Care Center.  Warren was born December 2, 1929 to Walter and Lola (Bernice) Woodley.  On July 3, 1951 he was united in marriage to Patty Jo Burroughs at Hampton Methodist church.
