1949-2022
Harvey Jay Stoffer passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 23, 2022, at
Swedish Memorial Hospital in Denver Colorado where he had been a patient for
the past few months with complications from diabetes and cancer.
A memorial service is planned for his cremains, graveside at Hillside
Cemetery in Sheffield Iowa on Friday May 12 at 11:00 a.m.

Gerald 'Jerry' Dee Rasmussen, 96, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Jerry was born November 12, 1926, in Elk Point, SD, the eldest of three sons.

Vernon Elmer Honold fell asleep in Jesus March 5, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2023, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial took place at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Latimer. Counsell Woodley Funeral Home of Latimer is caring for Vernon and his family.

Marlys Peterson, 85, of Hampton, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at her home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service at church. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Kenneth E. Jackson, 92 of Dows, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond.
Memorial graveside services for Kenneth Jackson will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery in Dows with Pastor Nicole Woodley officiating. 
Visitation for Kenneth Jackson will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 114 East Ellsworth in Dows.

Clear Lake- Elwilda “El” Elizabeth Etchen 90, died peacefully Monday, March 6, 2023 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church, 112 North 4th Street, Clear Lake, Iowa, with Rev. Steve Bang officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Marion Center Cemetery, Latimer, Iowa.

Shirley Hansen, 88, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral services are pending with the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Bea (Beulah Mae) Trindle Wharton, 99, of Hampton, formerly of Latimer, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery.

Jean M. Fischer, 101, of Cedar Falls, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Deery Suites, Western Home in Cedar Falls. She was born on August 6, 1921 in Coulter, IA, the daughter of John and Edna (Nielsen) Hansen. She graduated from Latimer High School.

Judy Jane (Hannah) Meyer passed away peacefully Wed- nesday, March l, 2023.

A Memorial Service to ce- lebrate Judy‘s life have been held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 4 th at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Iowa City. A reception followed the ser- vice from 2 to 4 PM. Michael Lynn Kreimeyer, 57, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at his home in Hampton, Iowa.
 
Michael was born June 20, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa and adopted by Donald and Lois Kreimeyer of Geneva, Iowa.
 
He worked as a carpenter until his health began to fail.
 
Mike is survived by his daughter: Michelle Lynn Kreimeyer, Hampton; by aunts, uncles and cousins.
 

Marjorie Ann (Hanig) Kampman, 94, died on February 19, 2023, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility, in Hampton, Iowa, just two days shy of the 40th anniversary of her husband's death. Marj was a longtime resident of Dumont, Iowa.

Kurtis Kelsey, 79, of Iowa Falls, passed away surrounded by his family, Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family. 

Louis Carl Schoning, 92, of Sheffield, sadly left us on February 18, 2023, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2023, at Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield.
