Sheryl Harms, 81, of Alden, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at her home in Alden. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Immanuel Memorial U.C.C. in Alden with burial in the Alden Cemetery. Mildred “Milly” Joan Schaefer, 94, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.

Mary Elizabeth Pecha, 55, of Dumont, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hampton, with burial in the Dumont Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2023, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home in Dumont.

Lana Kaye (Sutter) Schaefer passed away on April 2, 2023, from bad Fugu. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 502 2nd St S, Rockwell with Pastor Sandy Cannon officiating. Interment will be held in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Latimer. The service will livestreamed on the Major Erickson Funeral Home Facebook page.

Dean William Karsjens, 54, of Charles City, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Floyd Co. Medical Center in Charles City, due to complications of pneumonia. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Sietsema Funeral Home, 501 10th Ave., Ackley. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. 

Delmon Carter, 74, of Williams, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his home in Williams. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Williams with burial in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour before the service at church. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams. 

Gary Riles, 82, of Dougherty, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Sheffield Care Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield with burial in the Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 
 

Vernon Rindels, 91, of Bristow, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison. Todd Anthony Narber, 54, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 surrounded by his family at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Kyle John Schriber, age 40 of Jacksonville, NC passed away unexpectedly on
Wednesday, February 22, 2023.  Kyle was born on May 5, 1982 in Mason City,
Iowa to David LeRoy and Joan Haller Schriber currently of Britt, Minnestota;
formerly of Chapin and Hampton.

Marjie, 87, died peacefully with family by her side in early February. Born
and raised in Hampton, she met Jerry Boulton when they were waiters at a
diner near the University of Iowa, where she was studying. They married in
1955.

James Kent Brown, 82, of Pleasant Hill, IA (formerly of Hampton, IA) passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 18, 2023, after a brief illness.
 

Edward Joseph "Bud" Ibeling, 88, of Hampton, formerly of Dumont, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Hampton. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place in the Dumont Cemetery.

Helen Bergman, 93, of Ackley, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ackley with burial in the church cemetery.
