Gretchen Rabe, 92, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls with burial in Union Cemetery. J. Kent Brown, of Pleasant Hill and formerly of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. A private funeral service will be held with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Shirley Hansen, 88, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. A private family service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. 

Brandon Stockdale, 28, of Denver, Colorado and formerly of Iowa Falls, passed away at his home in Denver on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with burial in Union Cemetery. Following the lunch at the church, a celebration of life will follow at Highland Golf Club. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, March 24 at the church.

Harvey Jay Stoffer passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 23, 2022, at
Swedish Memorial Hospital in Denver Colorado where he had been a patient for
the past few months with complications from diabetes and cancer.
A memorial service is planned for his cremains, graveside at Hillside
Cemetery in Sheffield Iowa on Friday May 12 at 11:00 a.m.

Gerald 'Jerry' Dee Rasmussen, 96, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Jerry was born November 12, 1926, in Elk Point, SD, the eldest of three sons.

Vernon Elmer Honold fell asleep in Jesus March 5, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2023, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church. Bea (Beulah Mae) Trindle Wharton, 99, of Hampton, formerly of Latimer, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Counsell Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery.

Jean M. Fischer, 101, of Cedar Falls, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Deery Suites, Western Home in Cedar Falls. She was born on August 6, 1921 in Coulter, IA, the daughter of John and Edna (Nielsen) Hansen. She graduated from Latimer High School.
