Anita Mason, 92, formerly of Aredale/Dumont, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Franklin Country View in Hampton. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Harlan Cemetery in rural Dumont, Iowa. Kenneth Uhlenhopp, 84, of Hampton, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at his home in Hampton. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dumont Reformed Church on Saturday, June 6th 2026. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

Renee Hansen, 71, of Hampton, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Methodist Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton.

 David Leroy “Red” Schriber, age 72, of Britt, MN, and formerly of Iowa, died peacefully in his home on Monday, December 1, 2025. He was born August 28, 1953, in Webster City, IA, the son of George and Katie (Wibben) Schriber. He was united in marriage to Joan Haller on June 8, 1974 in Chapin, IA.

Carlene Wiarda (Nolte), 83, of Ackley, passed away on November 30, 2025, at Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 12:00 – 2:00p.m., December 8, 2025, at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton. She will be laid to rest at the Dumont Cemetery at a later date.

Betty L. Butt, 96 of Hampton went home to Jesus on Friday, November 28th.  Betty went peacefully under hospice care at home. Funeral services will be at 10:30, December 6, at Hampton Church of Christ in Hampton. She will be laid to rest at the Harlan Cemetery following the service. A public visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday December 5, at Woodley Funeral Home, in Hampton.

Donald Louis Warneke Sr., 88, of Ackley, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Dallas Kothenbeutel, 79, of St. Charles, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center in Naperville, Illinois. Leola (Schear) Johansen, 103, quietly passed away November 5, 2025 at the Franklin Country View Care Center in Hampton. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, at Woodley Funeral Home, Hampton. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery, Geneva. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service at Woodley Funeral Home.

Marvin Oleson, 89, of Latimer, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory of Hampton is caring for Marvin and his family.  Lois F. Bittner, 85, a resident of Grand Haven Retirement Community in Eldridge, Iowa, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Joyce Arndt, 81, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at Genesis Medical Center-East in Davenport following a brief illness.
