Elna Meyer, 97, of Latimer, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Funeral services are pending with the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 
Elna Mae Davidsen Meyer was born in Latimer, Iowa, on July 27, 1928 to Peter Davidsen and Hannah (nee Jorgensen) Davidsen. She attended Latimer Elementary and High Schools and is a graduate of North Iowa Area Community College.

Terry B. “Buck” Heilskov, 75, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Sunday at his home in Hampton.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Hampton United Methodist Church in Hampton.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton.  Burial will take place at the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton. Barbara Ann Heimer, 85, of Sheffield, Iowa, died peacefully at the Sheffield Care Center on Saturday, February 21, 2026. A visitation will be held 4:00–6:30 PM, Friday, February 27, 2026, at Sacred Heart Church in Rockwell, Iowa. Harlan Plagge, 79, of Big Stone City, SD, and formerly of Montevideo, MN, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown, SD.

David Spurgeon, 72, of Hampton, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Steven C. Stockdale passed away February 4, 2026 surrounded by his family at his home in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls, with burial immediately following at Union Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the church following the service with a time of fellowship with the family from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Ralph Stanley Gast passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. The family will have a private graveside service, and Ralph’s ashes will be laid to rest in Steamboat Rock Cemetery, per his request, “when everyone is home and the weather is nice.” Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.

Rona Lubben, 63, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory in Hampton with public visitation starting at 1:00 PM. Marilyn Reysack, 95, of Hampton, Iowa passed away on January 18, 2026 at Franklin County View Nursing Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2026 at St Peter’s United Church of Christ in Geneva. She will be laid to rest at the Meservey Cemetery  following the service. A public visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026 at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton.

Jerry Dean Woods, 91, of Hampton, passed away peacefully at Franklin General Hospital on January 12, 2026. He was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Janet Siems, 86, of Hampton, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2025, at the Hampton Seventh-Day Adventist Church, formerly the First Christian Church, in Hampton. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the start of  the service.

Jo Ann L. Petersen, 89, of Rockwell, IA passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, under the care of Hospice of North Iowa on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.  Per her wishes, she will be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.  Arrangements are with Fullerton Funeral Home.

Stanley Frederick Caspary, 90, of Sheffield, Iowa, passed away due to complications from a fall on January 2nd, 2026. He was a cherished father, grandfather, partner, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed.
