Pauline Faye Parks, 88, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away at Country View Nursing Home in Hampton on March 28, 2026. A celebration of life will be held at a later time with burial at West Fork Cemetery in Sheffield, Iowa. With honor, Adams Celebration of Life is serving the family. 

Jon Craig Schmitt, 70, of rural Sheffield, Iowa, passed away March 19, 2026, at his home following a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory, Hampton, is caring for Jon and his family. Born May 29, 1955, to Forrest and Roma Schmitt, Jon spent his life in the Hampton and Sheffield area. 

Beverly Viet, 84, of Dumont, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton under Care Initiatives Hospice. Ernest Steven Harms, 66, of Hampton, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. A funeral service to honor the life of our beloved Ernest Steven Harms will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. Charles Theodore “Ted” Nolte, age 79, passed away in his sleep at Harmony Rehabilitation Center in Cedar Rapids, on Friday night March 6, 2026.  He was born at Hampton, May 1, 1946, son of David J. and Mary Zoe (Ellsworth) Nolte.  He was one of the University of Iowa Hospital’s “Polio kids” – diagnosed at age 3 in 1949, leaving him with a paralyzed leg and a lifetime wearing a “brace”.  

Nathan Louis Eilers, 89, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026,at CentraCare Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., March 14 at First Congregational Church in Hampton. He will be laid to rest at the Dumont Cemetery following the service. A public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Charles Dean Wiemann, 68, of Urbandale, went to his eternal home with Jesus on March 8, 2026, following a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., March 21, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Prairie Ridge Church (825 NW 36th St., Ankeny). Visitation and a cookies and ice cream reception will follow from 2:30 - 4:30 PM.

Mary Johnson, 87, of Belmond, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond. 
Funeral services for Mary Johnson will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 304 3rd Avenue Northeast in Belmond, with Pastor Katie Pals officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery.

Robert S. Jacobsen passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 96. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick’s Lane South in Belmond.

Elna Meyer, 97, of Latimer, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Funeral services are pending with the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 
Elna Mae Davidsen Meyer was born in Latimer, Iowa, on July 27, 1928 to Peter Davidsen and Hannah (nee Jorgensen) Davidsen. She attended Latimer Elementary and High Schools and is a graduate of North Iowa Area Community College.

Terry B. “Buck” Heilskov, 75, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Sunday at his home in Hampton.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Hampton United Methodist Church in Hampton.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Woodley Funeral Home in Hampton.  Burial will take place at the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton.
