Lois Harms, 90, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls with burial in the Alden Cemetery. LaVonne Off, 86, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls with burial in the Pleasant Hill Grant Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Bob Irwin, 84, of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Hampton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may given to the American Cancer Society. LaDona Roelfs, 78, of Ackley, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. A private family service will be held  at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Ackley with burial in the Grant Township Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley. 

William James Kratz (Jim) of Kent, Washington passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with lymphoma.

Doris Knueppel, 93, of Hampton, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 2, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hampton. Interment will be at the Hampton Cemetery. Vera Mae (Powgnas) Gerzema, 89, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at Scenic Manor Nursing Home, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Robert Arlan Abernathey went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 21, 2023. He passed away at home with family by his side following a battle with lung cancer. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory of Hampton is caring for Robert and his family.

Marie C. (Neuberger) Miller-Jurgens, 88, of Hampton, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton, after a 4.5 year battle with cancer. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Zion Reformed Church in rural Sheffield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2023, at Zion Reformed Church in rural Sheffield.

Dorothy Oehlert, 95, of Sheffield, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at the Sheffield Care Center. Visitation will be 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 18, at Zion St. John Lutheran Church, Sheffield with a graveside service immediately following. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements.

Drew Norem and Kelly Andrews-Norem would like to announce the birth and death of their son Evan on September 9, 2023. He was a beautiful perfect baby who will always live on in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing Evan is now watching over us from beyond. The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
