William Hamilton, 95, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls with burial in the Union Cemetery.

Clear Lake, IA - Delores Ann (Plagge) McDermott, 83, of Clear Lake, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, while battling lymphoma in Dover, MN.
A Mass of Christian Burial was at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2021, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1001 9th Ave. S., Clear Lake with Rev. Josh Link officiating.  Burial was at Clear Lake Cemetery. 

Donna Mae (Boyenga) Menning, 86, of Hampton, Iowa passed away on March 11, 2021 surrounded by family and friends through her last moment. She spent her last days in Hospice at Franklin General Hospital. It was just six weeks after her cancer diagnosis she was called home by our Lord to his loving embrace.

Gayle Joyce Poortinga, 81, of Iowa Falls, Iowa passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021, at her home in Iowa Falls, Iowa under the care of Care Initiatives Hospice. Memorial Services for Gayle Portinga will be 3:00 pm Thursday March 11, 2021 with lunch to follow.

Quintin Ray Moore, 49, of rural Geneva, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, March 3, 2021.  He was born March 28, 1971, in Hampton, to Ray and Joan (Rewerts) Moore.

On February 28, 2021, Elma June Kuper Raisch passed away at Grand JiVante Center in Ackley, IA. Elma lived in Hampton, IA, before moving to Grand JiVante last summer, and was originally from the Ackley, IA area.

Funeral services for Paulette Bridges will be held Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Morgan Bradford United Methodist Church, 569 100th Street in Dows with Pastor Judy Eilders and Chaplain Anjeanette Perkins officiating.  Burial will take place at Morgan Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 5, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Morgan Bradford United Methodist Church.

Ellen Kay Dirks, 85, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion. She was born on November 11, 1935, in Hampton, to Manley J. and Hazel F. (Azeltine) McCormick.
Ellen attended Prairie Side #9 Country School thru 7th grade. She then attended and graduated from Franklin Consolidated in Latimer. Ellen met George Dirks and they were united in marriage on April 1, 1961, in Chapin.

Wayne Smith, 50, of Fort Dodge and formerly of Iowa Falls, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Visitation will be on Friday, March 5 from 4-7 p.m. at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls. Masks and social distancing are required. Jean Marie Crawford, 87, of Hampton, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton.  She was born October 7, 1933, to Harry and Ethel Marie (Fernau) Crabb.

Longtime East Quogue resident Elizabeth “Betty” Bradnick died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021at the Hampton Center in Southampton.  She was 85.  
 
Betty was born on Feb 8, 1936 in Dunkirk, New York to John McCraith and Elizabeth McNally.
 
She was an avid Buffalo Bill’s fan, she loved Chinese Auctions an Bingo.  She was very active in the E.Q.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary, E.Q.Historical Society and the Methodist Church.
 

Lynn Naureen Fisher, 73, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021, at her home in Hampton, after a battle of cancer for a few years.
A public funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2021, at Faith Baptist Church in Hampton.

Ernest LeRoy Willms, 85, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City, Iowa.  He was born July 13, 1935, in Bradford, to John L. and Tena (Karsjens) Willms.

Leola Marie Prause, 97, went to Heaven on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton in Hampton, Iowa.  She was born on November 13, 1923, in rural Aredale, Iowa, to Clarence and Marie (Wilke) Cutler.
