Jacob Robert Thomas passed away Sunday, July 26th 2020 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Galena, Illinois. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, August 3rd at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls, Iowa from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. Phyllis Darlene Miller, 89, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. She was born April 10, 1931, in Holland, Grundy County, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Jennie (Nederhoff) Meyer.

On Friday, July 24, 2020, Raymond Charles “Chuck” Crabb left this earth and awoke in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Chuck was born at home in Swaledale, Iowa on February 21, 1929, the third son of Harry and Marie (Fernau) Crabb. The family moved to Hampton and then Chapin, Iowa where Chuck graduated from Chapin High School in 1947.

Timothy H. Reynolds, 52, of Belmond, passed away Sunday, July 12 ,2020 at his home.
Memorial services for Tim Reynolds will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 304 3rd Avenue NE in Belmond, with Pastor Katie Pals officiating.

Kelly Joseph Murray, 53, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.  He was born July 7, 1967, in Osage, to Raymond J. and Trisha Ann (Henke) Murray.

Kyle Justin Porter, 32, of Geneva, Iowa, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, in rural Geneva.  He was born August 7, 1987, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Lynn E. and Jamie L. (Baker) Porter.

Jason Rolland Harper, 53, of Hansell, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.  He was born January 16, 1967, in Grundy Center, to Larry and Carolyn (McQueen) Harper.

Rhoda Mae (Silver) Clemens, 74, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. She was the daughter of Donald F. and Nancy (Abbas) Silver born October 5, 1945, in Dumont, Iowa, at the Silver home farm.

Jeanette White, 97, of Iowa Falls, passed away on July 15, 2020, at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20th at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls with burial in Northlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be an hour before the service. The Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is assisting the family.

Ann Ruby Hemken, 88, of Williams, Iowa passed away July 14, 2020, at Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls, Iowa. YuKona Adams, 83, of Iowa Falls, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, July 17, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls. She will be laid to rest at the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 PM on Thursday, July 16 at the church and from 9:00-10:00 AM on Friday prior to service time.

Donald LeRoy Ubben, 89, of Mason City, died Monday, July 13, 2020, at Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Dumont Cemetery. JoAnn Hobbs, 93, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.

Robert Wesley McCormick (aka Bob or RW) left his well-used earthly body on July 4. Independence Day was the perfect day for this WWII Marine to obtain this freedom. Born December 6, 1922, in Latimer, Iowa, Bob was the eldest (and only boy) of 6 who took his responsibility as a big brother seriously and adored his sisters.

Dorothy Lee Benge, 96, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton.  She was born on March 15, 1924, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Theo “Ted” and Ardia Leona (Sample) Dare.  Dorothy graduated from East High School in Des Moines.
