Kenneth M. “Kenny” Gardalen, 93, formerly of Latimer, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton. He was born on January 6, 1927, in Dows, Iowa, to Melvin and Alma (Hanson) Gardalen.
Kenny was baptized at the Lutheran Church in Dows and graduated from Dows High School.

Marcy Jo Eitel, 48, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020, at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, surrounded by her sisters. She was born September 27, 1972, in Hampton, to James and Dixie (Rodgers) Eitel.

Eugene Harken, 85, of Ackley, entered his heavenly home on October 11, 2020 at Grand JiVante in Ackley. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ackley. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ackley with burial in the West Friesland Cemetery. Kathy Jo Blayer, 54, of Coulter, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at her home in Coulter. She was born on February 22, 1966, in Oelwein, to Jerry and Diana (Jamison) Collins.

Junior Edgington, 93, of Sheffield, died Thursday, October 8, 2020, at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City. Graveside Service with Military Honors, by Harlow Ray Massee Post 217 American Legion, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, at Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield. A procession will leave Retz Funeral Home, Sheffield at 2:00 p.m. and travel by Junior’s farms before arriving at the cemetery.

Gertrude W. Muhlenbruch, 95, of Grimes, formerly of Hampton, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020, at Kennybrook Village in Grimes, Iowa. She was born November 18, 1924, in Hampton, to Henry and Minnie (Uilk) Muhlenbruch.
