P1: Peace Plaza Park looks to be dazzling by night and day. A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Sept 21st at the park from 5pm and will extend into darkness, allowing visitors to see the full Peace Park Concept come to fruition.
Family Dollar Opens Combo Store in Hampton

The new Family Dollar/Dollar Tree store #12695 opened in Hampton. Thursday's open was a soft opening, with a grand opening with specials planned for two weeks later, store officials said.
Old Stone House Gets Attention

P1 The Old Stone House was open for tours and fundraising during the Geneva Market Sept 8th and 9th.
P2 The east wall of the Old Stone House is crumbling and needs to be rebuilt. Funds are being raised to complete the work and donations are still being sought.

Hampton Flower Pots to Come Down Sept 10th

The twenty pots of blooming flowers that have graced the downtown area since June will be taken down for the season Sept 10th and readied for the next year. The pots were a joint Chamber and local business project with many individuals and groups lending time, talents and resources to the undertaking.
