There almost couldn’t have been more perfect weather for the twentieth running of the Harriman-Nielsen Fall Festival Sunday, October 1st. Temperatures briefly hit 92 degrees midday, but remarkably the hundreds of attendees, vendors and volunteers had plenty of shady spaces to duck into and the strong sun did not seem to slow the pace of the event.

Kiwanis Club of Hampton officers and board members for the upcoming year were installed at the regular weekly noon meeting on Tuesday, September 19 by Division 1 Lieutenant Governor Jim Paape. Paape is a member of the Mason City-River City Kiwanis club.
