Just what is TIF exactly?
Tax Increment Financing (TIF) is a tool used by cities to enhance a wide range of development efforts. After establishing a TIF district, cities can do several things, including public improvement projects, to encourage new development or to assist in redevelopment activities.

The Hampton City Council at their Thursday, November 9 meeting unanimously passed Resolution 2023-33 RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL COMMITMENT FOR THE MAIN STREET PROGRAM IN HAMPTON.
Resolution 2023-33 states:

The Automotive Technology program at North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City has received ASE Training Program accreditation by the ASE Education Foundation.
NIACC’s Automotive Technology program continues to be accredited as Master Automobile Service Technology designation, the top accreditation possible.
