The Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldog baseball team has been playing tough baseball ever since the middle of June. The Bulldogs have navigated through an arduous NCC schedule and a challenging non-conference schedule in a year that some viewed as a rebuilding one. So, the final week of the season shaped up to be the Bulldogs toughest.

Bulldog Softball Finishes Up Regular Season Looking to Make a Postseason Run

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldog softball team finished up their final week of the regular season with some formidable NCC opponents, as they prepared to begin the postseason regional tournament. The Bulldog softball team will have a nice little break and time to prepare before they begin tournament play. It was a solid season for a young team that grew and developed throughout.

Bulldog Baseball Continues to Win as Postseason Approaches

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs are wrapping up the regular season and looking to climb the standing in the NCC race. The Bulldogs will have to wait until Thursday June 29th to know their post-season pairing, but they are focused on continuing to play their best baseball and get healthy. A week of rivalry games set the Bulldogs up for a tough final week of the season.

A Busy Week for Bulldog Softball is a Winning Week

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL softball team has been growing all season and is looking to play their best softball at the end of the season. The Bulldog softball team also received their postseason pairing and will host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on July 6th. Coach Enslin has been making some position moves and adjustments to the line-up to prepare for the postseason.

H-D-CAL Softball Finding Growth Through Adversity

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL softball team has hit the middle of their season, and are growing with a young team. The girls are learning as they go and will show flashes of being a good team, but then will show their youth with errors or mistakes. The Bulldogs are battling within a tough NCC softball schedule.

Through the Dog Days of Summer the Bulldogs Continue Strong Play

The middle of June can be tough on a baseball team, with the team playing when other kids are at the lake, pool, or on vacation. But despite the distractions, the Bulldog baseball team rattled off another winning week, going 4-1 and 2-0 in the NCC. Coach Lokenvitz commented on the energy his players give to each other saying, “We have a good group of guys that even if they aren’t playing they are engaged in the game. The energy from our dugout is really good and our kids feed off that energy and it just builds from there.”

Warhawk baseball team dominates Rockford

SHEFFIELD – Zander Hansen had three extra-base hits and six runs batted in Wednesday as the West Fork High School baseball team dominated Rockford 20-5.

The Warhawks scored three runs each in the first two innings to build a 6-1 lead. Rockford came back with two each in its thrd and fourth frames before West Fork put the game away with an eight-run fourth. Brett Behr also had three hits for the Warhawks while Ashyr Wiseman had a pair of hits. Casyn Guerrero picked up the win on the mound, striking out five in four innings of work.

Warhawk softball gets offensive during bit week

SHEFFIELD – The West Fork High School softball team had a big week at the plate, averaging 15 runs per game in victories over Rockford, AGWSR and Northwood-Kensett.

The Warhawks downed Rockford 15-3 Wednesday as JoAnna Wallace went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and five runs batted in and Brooke Rother went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs. Preslee Dickman and Keelee Sheriff also had two hits as West Fork out-hit Rockford 13-3. Libby Trewin was the winning pitcher, striking out six while allowing three hits.

A Pair of NCC Wins Propel Bulldogs

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldog softball team is climbing in the North Central Conference standings as the team begins to mature on the field as a whole. The young athletic Bulldogs look to continue to climb the conference standings behind speed and defense. Coach Enslin is excited about the buy in of the young team and is happy to see the progress of the girls and marks in the win column.

Another Winning Week for the Bulldog Baseball Team

The Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldog baseball team has woken up and is playing really good baseball in the last two weeks. The three losses the Bulldogs have are in extra innings against good baseball teams. The players are starting to gel and find their grove at the plate. The defensive pieces are starting to fall into place and the pitching for the Bulldogs has been strong all season. Coach Lokenvitz has moved players to some different spots and complimented his players on their flexibility on the field and in the batting lineup.
