With the season around the halfway mark, the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs girls golf team head coach Dustin Moorehead has said the season has been a positive one so far. The Bulldogs are 4-3 on the season.
Following a run to the state championships which saw the West Fork Warhawks boys golf team take second place in the Class 1A State Championship, the boys team is getting ready for another run as the Warhawks took first place out of three teams at their first meet of the year with a score of 171 on April 4.
While the weather might not be cooperating but that has not stopped the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs girls golf team from getting ready for the upcoming season. Head coach Dustin Moorehead said that one of the goals for the team is to improve from last year.
HAMPTON—-- The Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs girls track and field team had a strong showing at their home meet during the Lady Bulldogs Invite on April 4. The Bulldogs took fourth place out of 16 teams with a score of 68 points. In the 100-meter dash, Abby Drier took fifth place with a time of 13.51 and Aubryee Showalter took 11th place with a time of 13.93.
After a strong showing last year that ended in a loss to Webster City in the Class 2A Substate 2 championship game. The Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs boys soccer team has its eyes set on repeating that success.
With the season under way for the Hampton Dumont-CAL Bulldogs girls tennis team co head coaches Chad Johnson and Staci Johnson said that their goals for the team is to get better throughout the season and to have fun.
HAMPTON—- The season did not start the way they would have liked for the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs girls soccer team. The team fell to the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets 10-0 at home on March 28.
The season was one that saw the West Fork Warhawks boys wrestling grow throughout the year according head coach Daniel Westhoff. Westhoff said that the Warhawks faced a lot of adversity and that the team was young as well with three freshmen wrestling varsity matches.
With the season starting for the West Fork Warhawks boys track season at the Dickinson Relays on March 4. Head coach Caleb Hovenga said that a goal for the team is to get as many people to qualify for state as they can.

Head coach Nicole Donnenwerth said that the team has 12 girls on it heading into their first meet and that the team can do well in the events they are participate in.
