SHEFFIELD – The West Fork High School softball team had a big week at the plate, averaging 15 runs per game in victories over Rockford, AGWSR and Northwood-Kensett.
The Warhawks downed Rockford 15-3 Wednesday as JoAnna Wallace went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and five runs batted in and Brooke Rother went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBIs. Preslee Dickman and Keelee Sheriff also had two hits as West Fork out-hit Rockford 13-3. Libby Trewin was the winning pitcher, striking out six while allowing three hits.
