Supervisors stuck on shadow flicker for wind farm ordinance

The continuing development of the county's new wind farm ordinance was back on the agenda at the Franklin County Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, August 29.

For the last several weeks the supervisors have been hashing out details on a new ordinance that will regulate the development of wind turbine farms in the county. With multiple development projects in the planning stages, the conditions of the ordinance will ultimately determine whether or not developers will consider the county a viable place to build.
