Arraignment is set for next Thursday for a Hampton man who is now facing even more charges following his alleged role in a stabbing.

Isidoro Moreno Montalvo, 22, had been charged with Class B felony attempted murder after the May 24 incident that saw a victim stabbed multiple times and now faces Class C felony willful injury, Class D felony going armed with intent and Serious Misdemeanor possession or carrying of dangerous weapons while under the influence.

Moreno Montalvo was arrested after the Hampton Police Department was called to an incident where the victim approached law enforcement holding his left shoulder with a visible deep laceration on his body, two stab wounds on his arm, one under his arm pit and one more to his front shoulder.

According to court records, the victim told law enforcement he was scared he was going to die given the severity of his wounds and was taken by the Hampton PD to Franklin General Hospital by an officer with lights activated and then flown to Mercy Hospital up in Mason City with significant injuries.

Moreno Montalvo has entered a plea of not guilty.
