A long time ago, well, 2012 to be precise, Disney did the unthinkable and bought Lucasfilm, ushering in a new era of Star Wars content to be consumed.
At the time, I questioned if Disney was capable of doing justice to the beloved franchise with a new trilogy of movies without the involvement of George Lucas.
At the same time, I also noted that whatever Disney did, it couldn't be as divisive as the Prequel Trilogy that already existed.
I was wrong.
