Memorial Tree Planted for Taylor Carr, Cammie Haack

A memorial tree was planted on the north lawn of the Hampton cemetery Thursday morning in honor of Taylor Carr and Cammie Haack.

Loretta and Rex Carr purchased the tree (a fall fiesta sugar maple) and customized plaque through the Hampton Tree Board as a living tribute for their son and granddaughter.

“We want our loved ones’ names kept alive for all who walk these paths,” said Loretta. “We want them never to be forgotten, and we love to hear their names. What better way to do this than to plant a memory tree that we can watch grow? We love the idea of a living tribute.”

This is the second memorial tree they’ve purchased from the tree board.
