I've been a newspaper reporter for quite some time now. As such, I attend a lot of meetings.
Really. A lot. Nary a week goes bye for me without attending at least one city council or school board meeting from any of the numerous territories I have covered over the years. It would not be outlandish to suggest that I have sat through more of such meetings than any elected official currently serving on them.
