Rick Stewart, the Libertarian Party candidate for Iowa Governor, rolled through Hampton on Tuesday, July 12 for the Franklin County Fair Parade.
As a third-party candidate without the financial resources of his competitors, Stewart has been attending parades across the state as a way of elevating his profile with potential voters. The Franklin County Fair Parade was his 31st parade of the year for him.
"It's one of the best ways for me to meet Iowa voters from across the state," said Stewart. "Plus it's fun."
