Hampton City Manager Ron Dunt updated the public on the Olive Ave Bridge overlayment and paving project at the Thursday Apr 26 regular meeting of the city council, saying it would be "at least 2-3 more weeks," until work is completed.
The bridge overpayment is a county project, but Dunt said he thought residents would be curious about the reopening, so he passed along what he had heard from the county engineer Jay Waddingham. Apparently there were "some delays" which have pushed the project timeline out from original plan.
