The CAL Community School Board approved the new calendar for the 2021-22 school year during their regular meeting on Monday, July 19.
The new calendar, mirroring that of the Hampton-Dumont district, had to be changed to adjust for the lack of snow days in the original version, as it had been anticipated that snow days could be overridden by distance learning. With that no longer the case, snow days were factored back into the new calendar at the cost of a week long Spring Break.
