Bulldog Volleyball Drops Match to Norsemen in Region Tournament

STORY CITY - Hampton-Dumont-CAL volleyball lost their match 3-0 to the Roland-Story Norsemen in the Class 3A Region 5 quarterfinals. The Bulldogs lost the first set 25-14, the second set 25-12 and the third set 25-7.

Freshman Aliyah Swieter led the Bulldogs with seven assists in the match, while junior Madiosn Heilskov led the team with 26 attacks and nine kills. Heilskov also had the Bulldogs' only ace in the match. Defensively, sophomore Noel Hansen recorded the Bulldogs' only block, while junior Elsie Kuper and freshman Kendall Eilderts led the team with four digs each.

With the loss, the Bulldogs end the season with a 4-23 record and 2-5 record in conference play.
