SHEFFIELD – The game firmly in hand, Class 3A No. 3 Dike-New Hartford had something special to celebrate.
Senior Ellie Foster reached the 1,000-point career scoring mark with a basket at the 3 minute, 2 second mark of the third quarter against West Fork on Thursday, Jan. 9.
“She’s worked so hard over her career and she’s a true gym rat,” Wolverine head coach Bruce Dall said, “and for her to get her 1000th point, that says a lot about her and a lot about the team to be able to get her the ball and be able to get her 1000th tonight.
