Everett Siddell

Everett Siddell, 79, of Hampton, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. A private burial will take place in Hampton Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton.

Everett Allan Siddell was born on September 7, 1946, in Manchester, Iowa, to Paul and Ruth (Harder) Siddell. After graduating high school, Everett enlisted into the United States Navy where he served until, he retired in 1988. He then went to work for Sukup’s. On February 14, 1975, Everett was united in marriage to Imogene Crawford in Athens, Greece.

Everett was known for his kindness to others and always willing to help family and friends with anything that needed fixing. He was devoted to his family and especially his grandsons.

Everett is survived by his wife Imogene of Hampton, daughter Penny (Grant) Willison, son Everett (Audra) Siddell Jr., stepchildren Perry (Brenda) De Younge, Pam De Younge, grandson Hunter Buss, step-grandchildren Joel (Linda) De Younge of Rockford, Illinois and Levi (Hannah) De Younge of Ames, stepsister Joy (Gary)Wiggins of Marshalltown and brother-in-law Virgil (Anette) Crawford of Moville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Doug Siddell.
