As the new school year begins at Hampton-Dumont High School it won't just be the freshmen getting to know a new building. This will be the first year for new Principal Matt Trosky to serve as an administrator for the district.
Originally from Cedar Rapids, Trosky graduated from Mount Mercy University and began his career as a para-educator, working with at-risk students in Tiffin. He spent ten years working with students on social skills, coaching athletics, and mentoring the student council before deciding to take a chance at something new.
