H-D/CAL ProStart competes in national competition

The H-D/CAL ProStart team returned home last week after a memorable trip to Washington D.C. for the National ProStart Invitational competition.

Overseen by instructor Jane Hoegh, the ProStart team is a team of culinary students that learn about meal preparation and restaurant management, and apply those skills in practice against other schools. Last March, they swept the competition at the state level, placing first in both categories and earning an invitation to Washington D.C. to represent Iowa in the national contest.
