The Hampton City Council held a special meeting in lieu of their regularly scheduled workshop session on Monday, February 21.
At the meeting, the council held a public hearing on the proposed maximum levy dollars for the 2022-23 fiscal year. The resolution will establish the maximum dollar amount for the year's property tax levy at $1,636,112.
The council also voted to approve the draft for the FY23 budget and set a public hearing date for Monday, March 14.
