Out of patience for patients

I was driving home last week when, before I could react, somebody came up behind me at considerable speed and shot past me on the shoulder of the highway. By the time the gravel stopped bouncing off my windshield and I had a grasp on what had happened, the driver was already vanishing in the distance.

Naturally, I thought to myself, "Well, this is America. That driver is free to make their own choices when it comes to what they do with their car."
