PELLA – AGWSR graduate and Wartburg sophomore Aubrie Fisher claimed the American Rivers Conference cross country title, helping the Knights to a male-female sweep of the event, hosted by Central College in Pella.
Fisher completed the 6,000-meter course in 21 minutes, 56.85 seconds and started to get some distance on Kassie Rosenbum of Loras College, who came across seven seconds back.
Fisher averaged 5:53 per mile and covered 5:53.98 in the first mile.
All five of Wartburg’s scoring runners finished among the top-10 as the Knights finished with 24 team points.
