Latimer celebrates new playground with ribbon cutting

The Latimer community celebrated the city’s newest playground in summer style. Last Friday, families were invited to Trailside Park for a ribbon cutting to commemorate a new playground and basketball court.

The rejuvenation of Trailside Park was celebrated with a community dinner, complete with brisket sandwiches, potato salad and beans.

Following the ribbon cutting, children were invited to check out the various features of the new playground.
