DES MOINES – West Fork’s Taylor Twedt is among a trio in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union’s 2020 track and field Hall of Fame, announced recently.
The Class of 2020 will be formally inducted at the 2021 state track and field meet.
The medical student from Rockwell was notified of the honor in January, but even then, she was hearing that the state meet may not happen.
“She (Jean Berger) basically said that they were still going to try and have the state meet on June 6,” Twedt said. “I was keeping my hopes up.
