La Luz Centro Cultural celebrated the return of its Cultural Cooking Class series with an authentic enchilada and salsa recipe last Tuesday.
Lilliana Velasco and Maria Guadia, both of La Luz, instructed the “students” on how to prepare the chicken, roast the vegetables for the salsa and assemble the enchiladas once all the components were ready.
The class then broke into groups to prepare their own renditions of the dish before closing out the session by enjoying the fruits of their labor.
