WEST DES MOINES – Two players from AGWSR joined two-time all-stater Ian Latham of West Fork on the 2019 Iowa Print Sports Writers Association all-state football teams, announced early Tuesday morning.
Earning second team offense in Eight-Player for the Cougars was senior offensive lineman Tanner Weichers, who helped the Cougars to a 7-2 season, just missing the playoffs for the second straight season.
Coach James Koop’s team finished with 3,244 yards behind the offensive line play, of which Weichers was a big part.
