Raymond Earl Shever, 82

Raymond Earl Shever, 82, of Hampton, Iowa passed away at his home on August 12, 2021. He was born on March 8, 1939, in Hartley, Iowa to parents Kenneth and Alice (Ginger) Shever. Raymond married Arlene Rohrbaugh on June 20, 1962, in Windom, Minnesota.

Raymond was in the United States Navy, serving his country from 1957 to 1977. Later he became a member of the USS Berkeley Association.

In his free time, Raymond had several hobbies to keep himself occupied. Working with computers, gardening, fishing, and going for walks were just a few of the things he enjoyed. Raymond was also a member of the Anthon-Oto Association.

Raymond is survived by his sons, Richard Shever of Lakewood, California, Roger Shever of Pella, Roland Shever of Knoxville, sisters, Kathryn Sands of Schleswig, Lois Farber, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene, son Raymond Eugene Shever, sister Karen Duncan, and his parents.
