Melvin Eugene Ayers

Melvin Ayers, 92, of Hampton, passed away on September 25, 2024. Melvin was born on November 2, 1931 near Aredale, to Ivan and Edna (Conn) Ayers. 

Melvin graduated from Hansell High School. He was united in marriage to Ethel Bonjour on June June 24, 1951 near Dumont, la. 

Melvin enjoyed spending time with family, camping, woodworking, lawn and gardening. 

Melvin is survived by his sons James (Diane) Ayers and Ricky (Pamela) Ayers, grandchildren John, Tim and Michael Oates, Jamie and Joey Veit, David, Rusty and Nicolas Ayers, and several great grandchildren. 

Melvin was preceded in death by his wife Ethel, father Ivan, mother Edna, brother Duane, and daughter Patricia Ayers, sister Arlene Johnson.
