H-D, CAL to distribute meals for students in wake of closing

The CAL and Hampton-Dumont Community School Districts will now offer breakfast and lunch services for students.

Per information released by the district Tuesday, the school will distribute breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, March 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. for children ages one to 18 years old. Pick up locations will be at the CAL building and Hampton-Dumont-High School in the north parking lot.

These distributions will include meals for breakfast and lunch for Thursday and Friday, March 19 and 20.

Following those distributions, the schools will have a series of five day meal pack distributions that will include breakfast and lunch. These will include five breakfasts and lunches per child.

The first distribution will be Sunday, March 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. or Monday, March 23 from 8 to 10 a.m.

Additional distributions will be Sunday March 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. or Monday, March 30 from 8 to 10 a.m. and Sunday, April 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. or Monday, April 6 from 8 to 10 a.m.

Meal pack distributions sites will be the same as those used on Wednesday. For more information, contact 641-456-2175.
