Frank Oran Benson

Frank Oran Benson was born on March 29, 1935 to Harold and Mildred (Kibsgaard) Benson. He graduated from Dumont High School in 1952 and then later was drafted into the United States Army in 1958. Frank was united in marriage to Norma Jean Schrage on March 5, 1960 in the Hansel Methodist Church.

Frank started with Western Electric Telephone in 1956 and then retired from Vista Telephone in Burnsville, Minnesota in 1993. Frank enjoyed traveling, family, his solo trip to Wisconsin, cars and speeding.

Frank is survived by his wife Norma Jean of Ackley, his sons Michael M. (Teresa) Benson of Iowa Falls, Clinton A. (Diane) Benson of Iowa Falls, Delane F. Benson of Iowa Falls, Vernon K. (Cheri) Benson of Iowa Falls, his brother Robert (Linda) Benson, his sister Eunice Brandt, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law Alfred and Neva Schrage, one brother and four sisters.
