CLEAR LAKE – Clear Lake got out to a 20-0 lead and the Bulldogs never recovered en route to a 65-32 loss to the Lions at Clear Lake on Friday, Dec. 18.
The Lions accumulated 12 steals and turned interim coach Matt Lokenvitz’s team over 24 times in overwhelming the Bulldogs.
None of the visitors finished in double-digit scoring, led by six apiece for Jordan Severs, Cal Heeren and Payton McNealy.
McNealy also led the Bulldogs on the boards with six, but the Lions overwhelmingly out-rebounded them 41-21 with the size advantage.
